Introduction to Customizing InfoView – Adam Lange, Lake Tahoe Community College
This session will demonstrate how Lake Tahoe Community College customized the InfoView interface in order to provide a more seamless and friendly experience for report users. The presentation will cover basic customizations, such as how to add a custom logo and adjust text on the logon page. Attendees will also see more advanced customizations, such as how LTCC added a custom blurb to the logon page to display the date/time when the reporting data warehouse was last refreshed. This presentation will focus primarily on XI 3.1, although some brief information will also be provided regarding customizations to Launchpad in 4.0.

The new SAP Predictive Analytics tool promises to forever change SAP BI stack by adding an integrated, comprehensive advanced analytics tool. We will walk through its basic form and function and present some specific scenarios for its use and integration into your BI environment.

SAP BusinessObjects BI4 | Training for the Transition – Paul Grill
BI 4 provides for a major new release of BusinessObjects bringing many new products and functionalities. As such, it requires education to become knowledgeable and effective in using it. SAP has released a set of BI 4 instructor-led and e-learning courses along with new certifications. There are also delta offerings available to cover the differences between the last major release (BO XI 3.1) and BI 4. This informative session will help you to understand the offerings so you can make informed choices around your training needs. The session will also discuss the most effective training timing; where BusinessObjects administrators may benefit from training prior to the migration whereas most users would benefit just prior to production go live.
