You wouldn’t rip the dashboard out of your car every time you were going to take another trip in it to the store or to work.  However, in some cases it does make sense to invest significantly into a dashboard that you will only use once.  It’s common to picture a dashboard being used to track Key Performance Indicators and other metrics in order to influence many decisions.  School Districts in Arizona are finding that it is also important to build a dashboard to help influence a single decision when it is a significant financial decision that requires deep analysis of a multitude of possibilities.  This presentation will include dashboards that were used by two different districts when looking at how to implement compensation increases.

3:30- 4:00 pm | Integration of BusinessObjects and Tableau- Paul Grill

An increasing number of organizations using BusinessObjects are also using Tableau both for data discovery and data visualization solutions. Many would like to leverage their investment in their BusinessObjects deployment to automatically feed qualified data into Tableau. This fascinating presentation discusses some of the options now available for integrating your BusinessObjects content into Tableau.
