Universe Designer and IDT – Compare and Contrast

The new information design tool (IDT) contains many features and enhancements that will make universe design easier, less time-consuming, and enables a  designer to extract and manipulate metadata from multiple connections.  This session will compare and contrast the universe designer (3.X) and the Information Design Tool (4.x).  Also, there will be a high level tour of the new IDT tool.

Learn how to work with the new Web Intelligence Rich Client Reporting Tool including how to create multiple queries and synchronize your report data by merging dimensions, how to bring in Personal Data Providers such as Excel or text into a query, and how to merge those Personal Data Providers into your report, as well as make adjustments to those Personal Data Files where data is incorrectly formatted by Rich Client.   Also, this session will cover how to import/export your reports to the InfoView Portal as well share other great techniques for utilizing Webi Rich Client
